He Lives in You is very good (video contains possible spoilers?), able to hold its own with Lion King 1 music. But if you want you can just check out the songs on youtube.
At the very least it makes for a well animated musical. It's not essential viewing, and isn't a very necessary sequel, but I don't think it ruins anything.
